2. In the Microsoft Publisher pane, make sure Getting Started is selected.
3. Selecting a design type. For this we are going to use Flyers
4. Under Flyers, scroll down to Event.
5. Click on floating oval, and choose to create it, The screen should look like this:

6. On the Menu Bar, click Edit, then Business Information.
7. When the Edit Business Information Set window appears, type:
In the individual information box: (your name)
In the Job or position title box, type: President
In the Organization Name box, type: North Bay Business Society
In the first line of the Address box, type: 123 Main Street
In second line of the Address box, type: North Bay, Ontario a1a 1a1
13. In the Tag line or motto box, type: We have a money tree in our back yard
14. Click save
15. When the Business Information window appears, make sure everything is written correctly, and then click the ‘update’ publication button.
The personal information should be added to the flyer.

17. Click the text box below the picture, and type: The North Bay Business society would like you to join us for our annual presentation day, where we will have guests coming in to speak about their products. The event is free, and there will also be free food!
The flyer should now look like this:
Resize a textbox
18. go to the bottom left of the page, where the contact information is, and holding down the control button (or clicking and dragging a selection box around it), select all three boxes of information. Let go of the shift key, and drag the right center handle on the centre box over until the entre name of the business can be seen.
19. Resize the ‘highlights’ text box so that the last line of text does not show. You will see an icon that looks like
‘A . . .’
This means that there is text that cant be seen and can be ‘overflown’ to the next page.
USE ZOOM FEATURES
20. On the Toolbar, click the drop-down arrow.
When the menu appears, click 100%.
21. Click the View Size drop-down arrow again, then click Whole Page.
PREVIEW AND PRINT
22. On the Toolbar, click the icon that looks like a page and a magnifying glass.
23. Save this file as Tut1, in a folder in your hard drive named ‘publisher’. This way we can try to keep everything organized.
